OUR FOUNDER - TIA NOAKES
Born and raised in Birmingham, Tia's journey in the performing arts began at the age of four when she joined a local stage school. It was there that her passion for the arts was ignited, and went on to achieve regional, national, and international titles. At 8 years old, she successfully auditioned for Elmhurst Ballet School, beginning a pivotal chapter of professional training that laid the foundation for both the performer and educator she is today.

At 10 years old, Tia began her professional career in the UK tour of Oliver!, and by 12, was performing as Veruca Salt in the original West End cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Tia also appeared in many Ads/ Tv and Films throughout her career, some credits include "Rose" (Oliver! The UK Tour), "Wanda Bishop" (BBC DOCTORS), "Carla" (CBBC So Awkward), "Sophie" (Doll Factory The Musical- Feature Film).
In 2016, she was honoured to receive the Ant and Dec Scholarship to train at Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts, where she further developed her technical skill, stagecraft, and industry knowledge. Tia says these experiences shaped her work ethic, broadened perspective, and inspired her to share her journey with others.

Over the past five years, Tia has poured her heart into building and leading the success of Tia Noakes Academy, a creative home for young people to express themselves, develop confidence, and explore their own potential. Teaching has become the most fulfilling part of Tia's career so far, and she is passionate about giving back, not just to TNA students, but to all the young dancers who are just beginning their own journeys.

Looking ahead, Tia is fully committed to pursuing the highest level of excellence within her teaching. With unwavering dedication and a passion for dance, she aspire's to reach the absolute pinnacle of achievement for her students at TNA. She believe's it is vital to leave a lasting impact on the dance world, not only through her own achievements but through empowering others to find their place within the art form. Tia wants to reach further afield, inspire young talent across the country and beyond, and support other educators in nurturing the next generation. Tia believe's in the power of performing arts to change lives, and she wants to be part of that legacy. Tia hope's to leave her mark in the Performing Arts world, not just as a performer or teacher, but as someone who has contributed to the development of the art form and the artists of tomorrow.
